Description

In December 2016, an ARLS Properties affiliate purchased a 17-acre site in Nottingham, Maryland, at a traffic-controlled corner, from Corporate Properties Office Trust (COPT). The site is located off of Interstate 95, near White Marsh Boulevard. The large property adjacent to the ARLS Properties' site was slated to be developed as an outlet mall, and ARLS Properties intended to develop its site with complementary retail uses. When the neighboring owner decided not to develop its site as an outlet mall (and to instead develop its site as a warehouse), ARLS Properties sold most of the site it had acquired to two high-end, regional car dealerships, a hotel developer and a self-storage company. It retained a 2-acre parcel that it subsequently leased to Royal Farms.
